Firefighters Without Borders partnered with Lac Seul First Nation to conduct a 4-day course on Fire Safety & Prevention in October 2019. The focus of the project was on fire trends, home fire safety, proper smoke alarm placement, as well as fire education for schools and children. This project also included the installation of fire alarms in approximately 400 residencies in the community. Given the success of the project, Firefighters Without Borders is proud and excited to continue working in the Lac Seul First Nation.
